What is Cooperative Education?
Cooperative Education (Co-op) is a program which allows students to combine academic study with degree related work experience. Co-op is a perfect way for employers to fill positions with highly motivated student employees with specialized skills. You set the criteria for positions, we do the pre-screening for you. How does it work?
There are four work options:

  • Alternating Co-op: Students work full-time, alternating semesters. A minimum of two work semesters is required.
  • Parallel Co-ops: Students work 10-20 hours per week while attending ßÏÀÖÔ° a minimum of half-time each semester. A minimum of four work semesters is required.
  • Part-time Internship: Students work 10-20 hours per week while attending ßÏÀÖÔ° a minimum of half-time each semester. Can be repeated up to 2 semesters.
  • Full-Time Internship: Students work full-time, up to two semesters.

What types of students are available?
There are over 20 majors represented in the ßÏÀÖÔ° Co-op Program, including Accounting, Art, Biology, Business, Chemistry, Computer Science, Nursing, Education, Finance, Management, Marketing, Math, Political Science, Psychology, Public Relations, Sociology, and Telecommunications.
