VALDOSTA — Jayme Prandine of Bradenton, Florida, is the recipient of ßÏÀÖÔ°’s 2024-2025 Division of Athletics Student-Athlete Academic Award.

The Division of Athletics Student-Athlete Academic Award is presented to a junior, senior, or graduate student-athlete with the highest grade point average. Ties are not broken. Prandine is an infielder on the Blazer Softball team.

“Receiving this award truly is such an honor and has made my experience here at ßÏÀÖÔ° so meaningful,” she said. “To have one’s hard work and dedication recognized to this extent is incredibly validating to say the least.

“This achievement has also inspired me with a renewed sense of motivation for the future. I’m grateful for the opportunities and support I’ve had here up until this point, and I’m excited for what’s to come.”

Prandine is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Education in Communication Disorders and anticipates graduating in May 2026. As she works toward becoming a speech-language pathologist, she plans to pursue a Master of Education in Communication Disorders after completing her undergraduate degree.

“None of this would have been possible without the unwavering love and support of my family, friends, peers, and coaches, especially my incredible parents, Tracy and Matt, whose guidance and belief in me have been a constant source of strength throughout my life,” she shared.
