Mass Choir Presents Sunday’s Best Nov. 8

VALDOSTA — ßÏÀÖÔ°’s Mass Choir will present Sunday’s Best at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 8, in the Student Union Theater. Admission is free of charge and open to the public.

Eight contestants will compete for the title of Sunday’s Best 2015 and a Visa gift card worth $100.

“These contestants are all ßÏÀÖÔ° students who have a gift that should be showcased,” said Eric J. Brantley, president and head director of the Mass Choir. “Auditions were held two weeks ago for any student who had a desire to participate.

“Sunday’s Best is the Mass Choir’s way of supporting and promoting local talent within the ßÏÀÖÔ° community.”

Brantley said the competition will be similar to that seen on American Idol.

Attendees are encouraged to donate school supplies for the children who attend after-school programs sponsored by the Harley Langdale Jr. College of Business Administration’s Enactus students at Ora Lee West and Hudson Dockett housing communities.
