ßÏÀÖÔ° Welcomes Mark McNalley as Assistant Director of Housing for Resident Education

VALDOSTA – ßÏÀÖÔ° welcomed Mark McNalley as its assistant director for resident education June 3.

In his role, McNalley oversees the development of all residential curriculum and serves as the advisor for the Residence Hall Association of ßÏÀÖÔ°.

“One of my main responsibilities is conducting training for resident assistants and graduate hall directors,” said McNalley.  “Another part of my job includes developing living, learning communities. We currently have some with the Honors College and Air Force ROTC, but we would definitely like to have more in place.”

McNalley holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications with a minor in English Literature from the University of Virginia’s College at Wise as well as a master’s degree in student affairs administration from Ball State University. His professional career includes time as an assistant director at Ball State and then a community director of the University of North Carolina at Asheville. He joined ßÏÀÖÔ° after three years as a residence coordinator at Florida State University.
