ßÏÀÖÔ° WiFi Networks

Wired connections are available upon request in academic, administration buildings, and residence halls. Residence Hall requests must meet specific requirements in order to be activated.

Academic and administration ports are for official business and ßÏÀÖÔ°-owned devices only.

If you need a port activated in any of these areas, please contact the Solution Center at solutions.valdosta.edu or 229-245-4357.

If available, it is always recommended that a user connects to a secure and encrypted wireless network. ßÏÀÖÔ° offers three encryption wireless networks, ßÏÀÖÔ°-WiFi, ßÏÀÖÔ°-LegacyWiFi, and eduRoam.  

REMINDER: Be cautious of data that you transmit over unsecured wireless networks. We do not recommend making purchases, completing banking transactions, or similar activities that would transmit financial information or private identification numbers (like Social Security Numbers) over an unsecured/unencrypted wireless network.
