Dr. Jodi Cronin is an Assistant Professor at ßÏÀÖÔ°, where she specializes in elementary literacy education and the preparation of future teachers. She earned her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of Florida, with her dissertation focusing on the critical components of school success in turnaround schools.

With extensive experience spanning from a classroom teacher to school- and district-level administration in Florida, Dr. Cronin brings a deep understanding of instructional leadership and student learning needs. Her research interests center on teacher preparation, support, and retention; the design and impact of professional learning; high-quality literacy instruction for all learners; and the integration of literacy across academic disciplines.

Dr. Cronin also contributes to the advancement of literacy education statewide as a Literacy-Focused Reviewer for the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC). She has co-authored recent publications on literacy, including “Fostering Social-Emotional Learning in Children’s Books: An Analysis of Content and Quality” and “Georgia Implements New Standards for Teacher Preparation Programs to Enhance Literacy Instruction.”
